NC Legislators Propose Increasing Cigarette Tax By $1

Raleigh, NC — Two North Carolina lawmakers have filed a bill that, if passed, would increase the state’s cigarette tax by $1. Rep. Jennifer Weiss (D-Wake) and Sen.
