But one thing she hadn’t planned for was the wind.

A sudden gust caught the actress unawares, whipping up her skirt to reveal her polka dot underwear.

Perhaps Mischa shouldn’t have been surprised by the mishap – the same thing happened earlier this month.

The former OC star’s dress flew up as she climbed out of her car in Los Angeles, just after she pulled up in front of the paparazzi.

The 24-year-old headed to the city from the Cannes Film Festival, where she had been attending a constant round of cocktail parties, balls and premieres.

It looked as if her busy life was getting to Mischa, who at one point sat slumped against a street corner, smoking a cigarette.

The bleached blonde looked tired and miserable, as she sat alone.

It was a far cry from her polished appearance just last week, when she stole the show at the star-studded amfAR charity ball.

Just last year Mischa spent time in a psychiatric ward, before her new TV series The Beautiful Life was cancelled after just a few episodes.
